Many soldiers of wars...
Return with visible wounds...
Many soldiers return no more...
And many soldiers...
Return wounded and silent...
Desperately hiding all actions...
Witnessed and done...
That were all so violent...
The soldier may look somewhat the same once home...
Perhaps, though with deeper eyes, and saddened faces...
Inside the mind, thoughts always flowing, but nowhere to roam...
Only in the deepest and darkest...
Shadows and places...
May peace come to their minds and to their hearts...
Their wounded souls and spirits...
May they learn to forgive themselves...
May they remember who they really are...
The pain is deep and the pain is ever so real...
May each and every single day...
They begin to heal...
And, remember, times in their lives that were so beautiful...
And, learn to live anew and no longer amongst the shadows...
This writing is dedicated, to someone whom,
In peace and love always,
Maria Joan Juarez Hidalgo Beam (Boheme)
