This song is certainly not for the faint hearted and to listen to this as a mother, hits me hard, hits me hard indeed. But, it expresses much, of what our soldiers, go through and the suffering, that they know that their mama´s go through as well.
My son, did not tell me all, that he had done, and that he had experienced in his tour of duty, but he did say, Mama, I did some really bad things, and I saw some really bad things"..his way of asking me his forgiveness...
He is haunted, yes, he is haunted. I feel his haunting and his need for redemption, especially from me, but is far to afraid to ask. But, he has it and I hope that he knows it.
So, with tears flowing, from my soul and down my face, son, I love you and I always will, and you have my love and forgiveness for eternity.
